We had the most delicious lunch at the Baithouse: gorgeous tomatoes salad with roasted garlic bread, scallops cooked to perfection and a main of seafood (mussels, pipis, prawns and calamari) with a light sauce and squid pasta. We also had an assortment of home made cakes to share (there were so many choices!) with our coffee. This is a real gem and a few steps from the ferry or a walk from Nielsen Park. It has incredible views and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. I strongly recommend it for breakfast or lunch.

It’s a lovely cafe next to Watsons Bay library. The outdoor seating is great with the stunning view of Sydney Harbour Bridge. My kids would love this cafe next to the library. Awesome space for kids too. Staffs are friendly and my piccolo is great . It’s a cafe provided counter service and seating free area. Menu is on the chalkboard inside the cafe. You can ordered your drinks first and take a photo of the menu board to choose the food you like. Lovely day out for us. Thumbs up

We held our daughter’s engagement party at the Baithouse a few weeks ago. Nicola, the owner, put on a great event for almost 130 people in the garden. Great canapés and snacks. Superb ambience and outlook. Highly recommended for events. But this is also my go-to place for my morning coffee and croissant. Nico is a superb baker as well as an all-round good guy. But don’t go there if you’re expecting to eat in a rush or want the usual stuff like a bacon and egg roll for breakfast. His food is different, “clean”, very tasty with good ingredients and carefully prepared – and most of the pastries are baked by him personally.

Locals enjoying another local business for lunch. The best risotto ever with the backdrop of an amazing view. You feel like you have been transported to Portofino.. The garden setting is just a beautiful place to enjoy the best of Watsons Bay. The owner has a great sense of humour and you instantly feel welcome.
